Research and Transfer

Technische Hochschule Mannheim is one of the largest and most research-active universities in Baden-Württemberg and in Germany. Institute for Medical Technology of Heidelberg University an Technische Hochschule Mannheim

The institute Institute for Medical Technology of Heidelberg University and Technische Hochschule Mannheim was founded in 2008 as a cross-university scientific institution by the rectorates of both universities. The IMT carries out interdisciplinary research and teaching in the field of medical technology and promotes young scientists. In particular, specialisms from the border areas of medicine, biology and technology are linked together. The IMT's tasks also include the promotion and realization of collaborations with other universities, non-university institutions and industry.
