Study Programmes
Finding the right degree programme might not be easy, but it’s a fascinating task nonetheless. We want to help you find the opportunity that suits you best.
All our Bachelor and Master programmes have been successfully accredited and provide graduates with direct access to the higher civil service and/or doctoral studies at other universities. The broad range of programmes available at the Hochschule also includes courses organised jointly with the University of Mannheim, the University of Heidelberg and the Heidelberg University of Education.
Several Departments also offer different international study programmes and double-degree courses.
The standard period of study for Bachelor programmes at the Hochschule Mannheim is seven semesters.
This includes one semester of work experience (internship) with a company or as other institution compatible to the course requirements. Many students take advantage of the university’s extensive international contacts to spend this semester abroad.
The standard period of study for Master programmes is three semesters. Graduates can also attend these programmes on a part-time basis after embarking on a professional career.
Biotechnology graduates have direct access to doctoral study programmes though participation in a time-limited Graduate Research Group (Graduiertenkolleg) involving the University of Heidelberg and the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ Heidelberg).
Hochschule Mannheim offers many courses in English for exchange students. You can find out more about these courses here.
