The partner university in France
The binational study programme is conducted in cooperation with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy (ENSMN). This institution is part of the Université de Lorraine, which awards the degree.
The Ecole des Mines has two campuses:
- The focal area on construction is taught in St. Dié des Voges and is entitled Concéption.
- The focal area on production is taught in Nancy and is entitled Matériaux et Gestion de Production
The programme is sponsored by the German-French University (DFH)/Université Franco-Allemande (UFA).
Mechanical engineering in Mannheim
Compulsory exercises and projects provide students with practical experience. Many of the master's thesis are written in collaboration with companies in the metropolitan region surrounding Mannheim.
Recent surveys show that 70% of our graduates have find their first job only three months after graduating.
